"Forging is a suffering, a penance, the anger in each blow, the impotence against the injustice
of man, making with the tool of my hand a tool for my soul obtaining some words to
construct me".

Jaime was born in Sevilla the 21st of January 1972. As a child he entertained himself constructing gadgets, recycling whatever pieces he could get his hands on. Later he began making masks from painted animal bones, which brought him to bone carving and his first artistic exchanges. At 20 years of age he began initiating himself in jewellery-making, working in a jewellery workshop and studying jewellery design. He then moved to Barcelona to learn precious stone cutting and subsequently graduated from the L'Escola Massana with a degree as a jewellery technician.

While studying he worked in various workshops where he learnt the forging, techniques that connects him to his roots and evokes the song of the hammer, "el martinete" :

After a couple of internships running the workshop of the Massana and developing personally, he decided to dedicate himself to teaching and created his own workshop in Poblenou. This was the base that served to consolidate our educational workshop project.
